my first blog

As the title suggests this is my first time blogging.  I have been assigned to keep a reading journal of children's literature and am very excited about the things I will learn over the next few months.  I have always had a passion for reading and have tried to pass that passion on to my own children as well as the many students I have encountered.  Even though this journal is a class assignment I hope to continue it on for my own personal gain as well.
